Working Holiday Visa- Important Change
Important change to processing of applications for New Zealand/Argentina and New Zealand/Uruguay Working Holiday Visa schemes:
From July 2010 there will be a change to the processing method for the New Zealand/Argentina and the New Zealand/Uruguay Working Holiday Visa schemes.
From the opening of the schemes on 1 October (Uruguay) and 15 October 2010 (Argentina), applicants will need to send X-ray certificates to Immigration New Zealand and not to the New Zealand Embassy.
Please, do not send your X-ray certificate until you receive confirmation that your application has been accepted
- An X-ray certificate is required for final approval of a Working Holiday Visa for New Zealand.
You will receive an email with details on how and where to send your X-ray certificate once you receive on-line notification that your application for a place on the Working Holiday Scheme has been accepted.
- You will need to courier the X-ray certificate direct to New Zealand at your expense. You may use the international courier company of your preference.
You should not send your X-ray certificate to the New Zealand Embassy.
Full application details for these schemes are available at www.immigration.govt.nz.
All inquiries should be sent to Immigration New Zealand though Online Help. They will be answered by Immigration Contact Centre staff.
