Team Administrator, Finance and Property New Zealand High Commission, Canberra (Locally employed position, open tenure).

The New Zealand High Commission is responsible to the New Zealand Government for its official relations in Australia.  The Post represents the New Zealand Government to the highest standards of professional excellence in diplomacy, trade negotiations, international development and consular services.  This is done by building connections with the host Country and accredited countries where required, that enables the New Zealand Government to achieve more than they could alone.

This locally engaged position in our small busy team is responsible for providing general administration support with a particular emphasis on financial reporting and analysis, property maintenance and related activities to ensure the efficient and smooth running of the office.

Your experience with business administration, finance and property management,  and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, will be key to your success.

You should hold a tertiary qualification; have proven successful experience in financial and/or property management; well developed planning and organisation skills and an ability to work autonomously and with attention to detail. New Zealand or Australian citizenship is preferred, you must be prepared to undergo an appropriate police check.

The terms and conditions of employment will be in line with Australian employment legislation.  The successful applicant, if resident outside of Canberra, will be responsible for costs associated with relocation to Canberra.
