Notarial services

The New Zealand Embassy in Vienna can witness signatures on documents, take an affidavit, affirmation, or statutory declaration and certify official documents for use under New Zealand law. For legal services on foreign documents contact an Austrian notary or the Embassy of that country.

This service is available by appointment only, on Monday and Friday from 9am to 12 noon and Wednesday from 12.30pm to 2pm.

All witnessing must take place at the New Zealand Embassy, Mattiellistrasse 2-4/3, 1040 Vienna.

We can also make certified copies of original documents.  Please contact our office to arrange this.

To make an appointment, please phone 01 505 3021. Appointments are made through this line only. We encourage those with appointments to check this page for up-to-date opening hours before coming to the Embassy.
