Do I need a visa to visit New Zealand?
Belgian, Luxembourg, Bulgarian and Romanian passport holders do not need a visa to travel to New Zealand for visits not longer than three months. However, you must:
- hold a valid return or outward ticket to a country where you have the right of entry;
- be able to show you have sufficient money to support yourself during your stay (NZ$1000 per month);
- hold a passport valid for three months beyond the date you are leaving New Zealand; and
- only visit for the time granted on arrival.
If you intend to stay in New Zealand for longer than three months then you will need to apply for a Visitor Visa.
Please check the requirements set out in the Information for Visitor Visa section on this site.
