Visa applications are no longer processed by the New Zealand Embassy in Brussels

Change to receiving office for visas in Western Europe

From 10 December 2012, the New Zealand Embassy in Brussels will no longer receive and process visa applications on behalf of Immigration New Zealand. All applications that were previously received by these Embassies should be sent by mail or courier to the Immigration New Zealand Visa Application Centre (VAC) in London.

31th Edition of the Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival-Screening of New Zealand Film "Fresh Meat" by Danny Mulheron

The 31th Edition of the Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival is taking place in Brussels from 2 April to 13 April 2013.

Venue: Palais des Beaux Arts, Rue Ravenstein, 1000 Brussels

During the special night of the Festival (Saturday 6 to Sunday 7 April) the New Zealand Film "Fresh Meat" by Danny Mulheron will be screened at 03:00AM.

Reburial Ceremony of New Zealand Soldier, Messines Ridge Cemetery, Monday 25 February 2013

The remains of an unknown soldier from the First World War were discovered during excavations in April 2012 in Mesen, West Flanders. Based on objects recovered with the remains including unit insignia as well as the location of the find, the remains were accepted in August 2012 as that of an unidentified New Zealand soldier.

Paula Wilson presented her credentials to His Majesty the King Albert II on Thursday 30 January. During the ceremony, which was held at the Belgian Royal Palace, Paula Wilson wore the korowai as a sign of respect and honour, and also to express the multicultural values of New Zealand.
