Paula Wilson presented her credentials to His Majesty the King Albert II on Thursday 30 January. During the ceremony, which was held at the Belgian Royal Palace, Paula Wilson wore the korowai as a sign of respect and honour, and also to express the multicultural values of New Zealand.

Paula Wilson will also present credentials to the Grand-Duchy of Luxemburg, the Republic of Romania and the Republic of Bulgaria. The latter have already given formal notification to the Embassy that their authorities have given their agreement to his nomination.
