Brussels gets a taste of Middle Earth

Time Warner Europe Managing Director (Public Policy) Claudio Murri and Paula Wilson get into the 3D spirit

Brussels received a taste of Middle Earth last night at a special cocktail reception and advanced private screening of the first in Sir Peter Jackson’s trilogy of The Hobbit movies - An Unexpected Journey.

Hosted by Time Warner and the New Zealand Embassy Brussels, the event was attended by around 150 people.

New Zealand Ambassador-designate to Belgium, Paula Wilson, who spoke prior to the screening, said the event was a great success.

"As a proud Kiwi it was a pleasure to be able to give some of our friends in Brussels a chance to see the movie before it opens, showcase some New Zealand wine and play a special DVD from Tourism New Zealand. And the 3D glasses made everyone look fabulous too!," said Ms Wilson.

"Thanks to Claudio and his team for organising a great event."
