Joint European Union-New Zealand Declaration

Prime Minister John Key, European Council President Herman Van Rompuy and European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso issued a joint declaration this morning, following their meeting in The Hague.

In the declaration, The European Union and New Zealand resolved to deepen EU – NZ relations further across all aspects of the relationship, including in the political and security sphere, science and innovation, and trade an investment.
