New Zealand Embassy & Mission to the European Union, Brussels, Belgium

New Zealand and Luxembourg relations

Most intergovernmental action between New Zealand and Luxembourg takes place at the EU and multilateral levels. New Zealand is accredited to Luxembourg from the New Zealand Embassy in Belgium. Luxembourgers appreciate New Zealand’s participation in World War I battles in the region, and related events are warmly commemorated.

Two-way trade in the year to June 2004 totalled NZ$14 million with New Zealand’s exports to Luxembourg valued at NZ$293,778 (mainly horses, motor vehicles, clothing and measuring instruments) and New Zealand imports valued at NZ$13,772,393 (mainly tools, aluminium foil, tyres and moulding plastics).
