Fees Lowered for Renewing NZ Passports Online

As from Friday, 02 November 2012, NZers will be able to renew their passports online and pay as much as $28 less for their new passports. Internal Affairs Minister Chris Tremain has said passport renewal for most adults will be possible from anywhere on <passports.govt.nz>. The price, currently $153.30 including GST, will be reduced to $124.50 for online processing and the cost of a first-time passport will fall to $140.00 (via paperwork).
