Ambassador Jeffrey McAlister met with Congresswoman Perpétua Almeida on 21 August to discuss the bilateral relationship between New Zealand and Brazil and to share perspectives on the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development (Rio+20). The Ambassador presented the Congresswoman with a bottle of New Zealand red wine and a bottle of milk produced on a New Zealand owned dairy farm located in Bahia as examples of products New Zealand exports to and produces in Brazil.
