New Zealand Ambassador talks to International Relations students of Federal University of Uberlandia.

New Zealand´s Ambassador to Brazil, Jeffrey McAlister, gave a short lecture to International Relations students of Uberlandia Federal University who are studying Oceania and were visiting Brasilia, on 5 April. The Ambassador presented New Zealand´s foreign policy including strategic priorities for Latin America and Brazil, among other related issues.

The students were escorted by Professors Erwin Xavir and Dr Sylvio Andreozzi.  The Ambassador commented “I hope my remarks helped the students understand New Zealand better, and that I encouraged them to consider  studying there one day.  New Zealand wants to deepen education and wider people-to-people linkages with Brazil and these students researching Oceania is a great opportunity to do that”.
