New Zealand High Commission Ottawa, Canada

Canada Post Strike – Visa Applications

During the Canada Post strike our office will be accepting visa applications by courier.

We suggest sending your application to the High Commission in Ottawa by FedEx, UPS, DHL or Purolator during the Canada Post strike to ensure your application is delivered to our office.

We also ask that you include a pre paid return courier envelope or waybill so we can return your passport by the same courier service.

For existing applicants: We will not be using any Canada Post envelopes already submitted with your application. If we issue you a visa during the strike, an Immigration Officer will contact you either by telephone or email and ask what courier service you would like us to use for the return of your passport. You will be asked to provide a credit card number or courier account number to pay for these return charges.
