Two movies filmed in New Zealand are premiering at the Toronto International Film Festival.

Mr Pip Directed by Auckland based Andrew Adamson (Shrek) and starring Hugh Lawrie is in Competition and premiered on the 9th of September.

Emperor directed by Peter Webber (Girl with a Pearl Earring) and starring Tommy Lee Jones and Matthew Fox has a Gala Premiere on the 14th of September.
