Visa processing changes – Ottawa
The receiving office for New Zealand visa applications is about to change. From 27 November 2012, applications can no longer be lodged with the New Zealand High Commission in Ottawa, and instead need to be sent to the New Zealand Visa Application Centre (VAC) in Washington D.C.
Immigration New Zealand is committed to ensuring a smooth transition for its customers and is working closely with the New Zealand High Commission in implementing this change.
There is a $USD37.00 handling fee per application, in addition to the relevant visa fee.
A pre-paid self-addressed courier envelope must be provided for the return of the passport and original documents. Please refer to the website of TT Services (http://www.ttsnzvisa.com/), Immigration New Zealand’s agent, for information regarding courier options.
Applications submitted in person may by paid by credit card or cash.
Applications submitted by mail or courier may be paid by credit card only.
