Below is a letter sent to KEA members looking for New Zealanders wanting to promote the All Whites on the Toronto Star's website.

Hello KEA,

I am setting up a World Cup forum on the Toronto Star’s website for 32 bloggers to follow the 32 teams, the action, the street parties and anything else World Cup related in Toronto.

Are there any super football fans wishing to promote New Zealand on the Star’s website?

The Jamaican Government has declared a state of emergency in parts of the capital Kingston in response to localised unrest, including attacks on police stations in West Kingston and St Andrews districts. The security situation could deteriorate with little or no notice, including in other parts of Kingston and possibly other urban areas in Jamaica.

New Zealanders currently in Jamaica are advised to avoid affected inner-city areas of Kingston, listen to local media for updates on the situation and follow any restrictions or instructions issued by the local authorities.

A producer working with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) is preparing a number of projects that deal with our World Cup coverage and is particularly interested in contacting people who will be cheering and supporting New Zealand team during the World Cup.

CBC is interested in recruiting World Cup "super fans" within the Kiwi community to be part of the CBC "Super fan" blog site.
