The Honourable Tim Groser, Minister of Trade, and High Commissioner-designate of New Zealand to Jamaica, Mr. Simon Tucker, met with Senator, the Honourable Arnold J. Nicholson, Jamaican Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, in Kingston, Jamaica on March 28. Minister Groser was in Jamaica to discuss his candidature for Director General of the World Trade Organisation.

The receiving office for New Zealand visa applications is about to change. From 27 November 2012, applications can no longer be lodged with the New Zealand High Commission in Ottawa, and instead need to be sent to the New Zealand Visa Application Centre (VAC) in Washington D.C.
