New Zealand and Canada

New Zealand maintains a longstanding and close relationship with Canada. Even with thousands of miles separating the two countries geographically, the evolution of both countries has meant a likeminded view of the world has developed in a great many areas. Whether it be through their involvement in international organisations such as the United Nations or the Commonwealth, business/trade relations or reciprocal treaty arrangements in areas of social policy, New Zealand/Canada relations are extremely important to both countries.
