Visa fees from Peru and Colombia

Visa payment from Colombia and Peru must be made by bank transfer. This Embassy does not accept payment by credit card or bank cheques.

The New Zealand Embassy has a US Dollar bank account for payment of visa applications from Columbia and Peru only. This account allows us to receive payment of visa fees via transfers or bank wires. The US dollar account details are as follows:

The visa fees that apply from August 29, 2011 are:

• Visitor visa - Tourism/Business Visitor Visa: US$ 130
• Work visa - Other categories: US$ 210
• Work to Residence visa: US$ 280
• Work Visa - Partnership (for Partners of NZ citizens and residents): US$ 280
• Student visa: US$ 210
• Transfer of label (to new passport): US$ 85
• Transit Visa: US$ 120
• Working Holiday Visa: (Peru and Chile): US$ 130

The fees do not include the cost of courier expenses. When you submit your application please include either a pre-paid courier pack, or add an additional US$40 to your payment. 

Any extra bank charges are not included in the price list above. Please ask your bank about any additional costs. In Peru some banks charge additional fees of around US $75 when an intermediary bank acts in the money transfer.

Group fee payment is only acceptable for families. For all other cases, transfers must be made individually (one deposit or transfer per applicant).

Applications received without the correct fee will not be processed.

Visa applications from Bolivia and Ecuador should be sent to the New Zealand Embassy in Washington DC - United States of America. Further information in www.immigration.govt.nz. Any application received at this office from Bolivia or Ecuador will be returned without processing.
