Visa fees within Chile
For applications within Chile, the Embassy does not receive payment in cash in our office unless there are exceptional circumstances. This means that applicants will have to pay their applications in advance and only in Chilean pesos via direct deposits or bank transfers. The original receipt must be included in the visa application to be considered as acceptable. The Embassy does not accept payment by credit card or bank cheque.
The details of the account for visa fee payment in Chilean pesos are the following:

Sender: Name of the applicant. This information is very important to avoid processing delays.
The following are the visa fees that apply from August 29, 2011:
- Visitor visa - Tourism/Business Visitor Visa: CLP$ 57,000
- Work visa - Other categories: CLP$ 93,000
- Work to Residence: CLP$ 125,000
- Work Visa - Partnership (only for Partners of NZ citizens and NZ residents): CLP$ 125,000
- Student visa: CLP$ 93,000
- Transfer of label (to new passport): CLP$ 37,000
- Transit Visa: CLP$ 53,000
- * Working Holiday Scheme Visa: CLP$57,000 (option available only for Peruvian nationals applying from Chile. Chileans must apply online and pay in US$ Dollars)
The total to be received by the embassy must include the total visa fee and the courier expense if required. Any extra bank charges are not included in the price list above. Please ask your bank for any additional costs.
Courier expenses:
Within Chile: Pre-paid courier or additional $5000 Chilean pesos.
