CarSol Fruit Export S.A. achieves international certification of its carbon footprint

CarSol Fruit Export S.A. has achieved the CEMARSTM certification (Certified Emissions Management And Reduction Scheme).

This certification in the ISO 14064-1 standard is a milestone for Fruit Export SA CarSol in its commitment to the environment and leadership, ensuring its customers have concrete evidence of their efforts to manage and reduce carbon emissions in an effective and credible way, having calculated its carbon footprint and commited to a reduction plan through the implementation of management plans.

CarboNZero Programme CEO, Ann Smith, said "It's great to see an export company such as CarSol Fruit Export SA taking action to reduce their impact, demonstrating their commitment to sustainability. This achievement should be celebrated by everyone in CarSol Fruit and we will stay tuned to see how this leadership evolves in its industry."

After the presentation of the certificate by the Ambassador of New Zealand John Capper, he referred to the certification obtained and to how this berry exporting company is being pioneer by becoming certified in this world-class standard. “This certification of excellence in the management of greenhouse gases is a chance for you to get out to your target markets and show your customers and stakeholders how Chilean fruit is seen before the world.”
