Who is in the Embassy

The Embassy currently has a New Zealand-based staff of approximately 20 and a total staff of more than 100, carrying out the business in Beijing of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Immigration New Zealand, New Zealand Trade and Enterprise, the Ministry for Primary Industries,  Education New Zealand, Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment, the New Zealand Police, the New Zealand Defence Force, and the New Zealand Customs Service.

Mr John McKinnon has served as the New Zealand Ambassador to China and Mongolia since January 2015.
