40 years of diplomatic relations between New Zealand and China

22 December 2012 was the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between New Zealand and China.  To mark this occasion, New Zealand’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Murray McCully discussed the relationship in a statement in New Zealand’s Dominion Post newspaper on 24 December.  Shortly afterward, on 28 December, China’s People’s Daily newspaper published an interview with New Zealand Prime Minister John Key to discuss the 40th anniversary.  Please click the documents below to read these articles.
