China Offered Emergency Humanitarian Aid worth of US$500,000 to quake-ravaged New Zealand

A devastating earthquake struck Christchurch, the second largest city of New Zealand on February 22, and caused heavy casualties and economic losses.
The Chinese Government decided to provide the New Zealand government with emergency humanitarian aid worth of US$500,000 in cash to help the government in its disaster relief efforts. It is an expression of friendship between Chinese government and people and the New Zealand government and people.
