On 7 March Counsellor Le Aimei, wife of Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi, presided over the opening ceremony of "China in my Eyes", a photographic exhibition of work submitted by female diplomats and spouses in celebration of International Women's Day at China's Capital Museum in Beijing.
During the ceremony, the judges awarded Connie Aldao-Worker, partner of New Zealand Ambassador Carl Worker, the special prize at the exhibition for her photograph "Curiosity". The photograph features her two children Oliver and Nicholas Worker and Gaby Guermanoff-Lowe, daughter of former Education Counsellor Guergana Guermanoff.
