New Zealand Education: A Winner with both Parents and Students

Yaya smiling on the school hill

Immigration New Zealand, Beijing Branch, recently received the following email from a mother whose daughter is studying in Wellington, New Zealand. With permission, we share it here with website visitors:

Dear Visa Officer Ms Zhuang

Thank you very much for your help!

My child is having a good time at Victoria University of Wellington! The University is well equipped with a library computer room which is open 24 hours a day, enabling students to check learning materials at any time. The University also has a school bus to pick up and send off students. My child said that the teachers are very patient, attentive, humorous. The students have a test every day to consolidate the knowledge they learnt yesterday. As a parent, I cannot be happier than knowing that my child is happily learning real knowledge. Though my child was not very used to the life when she first arrived in New Zealand, that does not matter at all compared with what she has learnt in New Zealand.

Thank you for having such a good school! See, the child is smiling on the school hill! This is a photo taken on the first weekend she arrived in New Zealand.

Thank you!

Yaya’s mum
