New Zealand Embassy - Fonterra coordination meeting

Fonterra China Farms General Manager Nicola Morris and New Zealand Ambassador to China H.E. Carl Worker (sitting centre) join respective staff in their last coordination meeting for 2012.

Ambassador Carl Worker and staff from the New Zealand Embassy in Beijing visited the Beijing offices of New Zealand dairy company Fonterra 14 December 2012 for the latest in a series of coordination meetings.  Operating under the NZ Inc. China Strategy - launched by Prime Minister John Key in February 2012, the Embassy holds regular discussions with a variety of New Zealand business interests in China.  Fonterra is both an important New Zealand exporter to, and New Zealand investor in China.  Meetings like these help coordinate efforts towards the goal set by Prime Minister Key and Premier Wen Jiabao in 2010 of doubling two-way trade between our countries to NZ$20 billion by 2015.
