New Zealand Wines recognised in Rubis Awards Top 100 Wines in China
Wine in China magazine’s 2011 Rubis Awards Top 100 Wines in China recognised some of the superb New Zealand wines available to Chinese consumers.
• Saint Clair Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2010 (gold medal)
• Lawsons’s Dry Hills Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2010 (gold medal)
• Rockburn Central Otago Pinot Noir 2008 (silver medal)
• Marlborough Vines Sauvignon Blanc 2010 (bronze medal)
The wines were recognised for their excellent quality, unique New Zealand flavours and value for money.
New Zealand Ambassador Carl Worker also received an award for “Outstanding Contribution to Wine Promotion”.
The January 2012 edition of Wine in China magazine includes an interview with Ambassador Worker as well as coverage of a wine tasting event hosted at the Ambassador’s Residence in Beijing.
