NZ – CN Doctoral Research Scholarship Programme Open for Application
The New Zealand – China Doctoral Research Scholarship Programme, which was launched by the New Zealand and Chinese Governments alongside the signing of the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) in April 2008, is a full scholarship package funded by the two countries. It funds a three year research programme at PhD level.
The scholarship funding covers full tuition fees, a monthly living allowance (NZ$1708 per month), a travel allowance (NZ$2,000 over the full tenure of the award), a health insurance allowance (NZ$600), and a book and thesis allowance (NZ$800 over the full tenure of the award). There is also an additional establishment allowance (NZ$500).
