From 18 September 2012, people in the Cook Islands applying for New Zealand visas will need to submit their applications direct to the Immigration New Zealand Northern Region Documentation Branch in Auckland, where they will be processed by Immigration New Zealand, rather than to the New Zealand High Commission in Rarotonga.
