Witnessing legal documents

Staff at the High Commission are able to witness Affidavits, Satutory Declarations and other documents for use under New Zealand law. The witnessing must take place at the High Commission, Suva. The fees for these and other legalisation services are:

• Certifying documents as true copies of originals (eg birth or marriage certificates): F$14
• Issuing consular letters, issuing consular certificates, taking affidavits, affirmations or statutory declarations (documents prepared by solicitor or applicant): F$28
