Monday to Friday: 9am to 1pm

New Zealanders who encounter a problem, such as a lost/stolen passport or other consular emergency, can contact the Consular Officer on 01 4501 4341 to seek advice and, if necessary, arrange an apointment. Outside weekday opening hours, New Zealanders with consular emergencies should phone 01 4501 4343 and listen to the information given.

If for any reason the main phone number does not answer and you have a consular emergency, please call Wellington (+64 4) 439 8000 and ask for the Consular Duty Officer.
