Team Administrator (Property) /Driver

The New Zealand Embassy in Berlin is seeking an open tenure Team Administrator (Property) /Driver to support the New Zealand Embassy Team Berlin. We are a small and dynamic team, operating in central location.

In this busy position, you will support the Post’s work with general administration to help ensure the efficient and smooth running of the office with a particular emphasis on property and facilities management.  The position requires undertaking a wide range of activities in support of the Embassy’s operational objectives. This includes maintenance of records, budgets and planning for all property, equipment, vehicles and machinery.

Your first-rate facility management skills, coupled with strong written and oral English and German communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, will be key to your success.

You will oversee outsourced maintenance works; ensuring targets (quality, cost, timeliness) are met. You will assist with managing property leases and maintain oversight of properties. You will be the key person for post staff transport requirements and vehicles.

Annual starting salary for the position will be between EUR 31,134 and EUR 37,375 dependent on skills and experience.

The successful applicant will be employed on local terms and conditions and must have the right to work in Germany.  Obtaining and maintaining the appropriate working visa is the responsibility of the applicant and any offer of employment is subject to this. In addition relocation to Berlin is to be undertaken at the expense of the applicant.
