Kia ora and welcome to the website of the New Zealand Embassy in Berlin.

If you are a New Zealander, you may be visiting the website to check out our consular services, relating to such matters as passports and emergency assistance.

Non-New Zealanders may be seeking advice on visiting or working in New Zealand, including how to obtain a visa.

Less obvious perhaps, but no less important, is the work the Embassy does in facilitating New Zealand’s political relationships with Germany, as well as the other countries to which we are accredited: Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.

In all of this, we work closely with our Honorary Consuls in Prague, Tallinn, the New Zealand Consulate-General in Geneva, and other partners including New Zealand Trade and Enterprise, and Tourism New Zealand.

This website is intended to provide responses to frequently-asked questions, including links to other useful sources of information. If you have a query that goes beyond the material provided, please do not hesitate to contact us.
