New Zealand-Czech Republic Working Holiday Scheme

The New Zealand-Czech Republic Working Holiday Scheme (WHS) gives young Czech citizens aged between 18 and 35 the ability to work for up to twelve months in New Zealand, with the same or different employers, or to spend their time holidaying and travelling around the country. Czech applicants may also enrol in one or more courses of training or study, with a total duration of up to six months. Currently 1200 WHS visas are available each year for Czech applicants.

It is recommended that WHS applications are made online (see WHS Online: Q&A). For applications and further information on the Scheme visit the website of Immigration New Zealand. Useful employment and other information is also available at www.newzealandnow.govt.nz.
