60 Years of German – New Zealand Diplomatic Relations

Lichthof des Auswärtigen Amts

This year marks the 60th Anniversary of diplomatic relations between New Zealand and Germany.

The latest in a series of events to commemorate the occasion is an exhibition in the atrium of the German Federal Foreign Office.  The exhibition is open to the public and highlights key milestones in German-New Zealand diplomatic relations, as well as important trade and research connections.  Accompanying the display is a sample from the New Zealand travelling exhibition “Te Ara – Māori Pathways of Leadership”.  Curated by Paul Tapsell and Merata Kawharu, this photographic exhibition features stunning images of Māori and their landscapes captured by internationally renowned photographer Krzysztof Pfeiffer.   The exhibition runs until 28 November.  For more information and opening hours visit the Federal Foreign Office website.

Lichthof des Auswärtigen Amts, Werderscher Markt 1, 10117 Berlin.  Entry: Free
