Administration Manager. New Zealand Consulate-General Noumea, New Caledonia

The New Zealand Consulate-General in Noumea, New Caledonia is seeking an Administration Manager.

In this busy position, you will be responsible for the administration and the effective and efficient running of the office to support the delivery of the Post’s strategic outputs.  You will ensure office processes and systems run smoothly, take charge of budget management and ensure compliance with all process guidelines and internal controls. You will manage property and facilities service providers ensuring cost efficient contracts run smoothly. You will also provide basic HR guidance to the Head of Mission.

You will have significant experience in office administration, and be comfortable working autonomously as part of a small team. You will need to demonstrate strong English and French verbal and written communication skills, relationship building skills, customer focus and attention to detail. In particular the ability to build remote working relationships with off shore teams will be key.

The successful applicant will be employed on local terms and conditions.  If appointed from outside New Caledonia, the successful applicant will be responsible for their own relocation costs to Noumea and their own living costs once there.  Any offer of employment is subject to the applicant being able to obtain and maintain an appropriate working visa.

Annual starting salary for the position will be between CFP 293,923 - 352,708 per month dependent upon skills and experience.
