Maori: New Zealand's First Inhabitants

An exhibition entitled Maori: New Zealand's First Inhabitants opened on Sunday 1st April at the Linden Museum in Stuttgart. Lisa Futschek Chargé d'Affaires of the NZ Embassy in Berlin opened the exhibition, accompanied by the London-based Kapa Haka performance group Ngati Ranana.

The exhibition presents and explores Maori culture in the past and the 21st century. Special workshops on aspects of Maori culture such as the haka and traditional weaving form part of the Museum’s programme. Children are invited to enjoy the exhibition by following the kiwi trail.
