New Zealand short film at Rencontres Internationales in Berlin

New Zealand will again be represented at Rencontres Internationales, an annual festival of experimental film and contemporary art held in Berlin, Paris and Madrid. This year's Berlin segment runs from 29 June to 4 July 2010, at the Haus der Kulturen der Welt. It features 150 contributions from over 50 countries, giving a unique perspective on new audiovisual art.
 
Stateless Gestures, a new short film by New Zealand-born artist, writer and poet Jason Workman, screens on Sunday 4 July at 16:00. Workman improvises a rhythmic choreography in the business district of Greensboro, North Carolina. Entry is free. For further information and the festival programme see www.art-action.org.
