New Zealanders living in Germany on the rise.

New statistics as from 31 December 2013, are now available on the numbers of foreign nationals living in Germany.

The number of New Zealanders resident in Germany was 2,562, up 4% in just one year (2012: 2,463). The average age is 37 and the average stay is nine years.  59% are men, 41% women, 38% are married, and 2% were born in Germany.  For more statistics visit the publication.

The number of New Zealanders resident in Berlin is 590, a rise of 11% since last year (2012: 530). 23% of New Zealanders resident in Germany are based in Berlin.

All New Zealanders living in Germany are invited to register with the Embassy.  To receive information about up and coming New Zealand events send an email to  and join our friends of New Zealand email listing.

New Zealanders are advised to visit the Ministry of Foreign Affair’s Safe Travel website and to register with RONZ.
