RUGBY WORLD CUP 2011 | 9 September - 23 October 2011
New Zealand will host the 2011 Rugby World Cup (RWC 2011) a quadrennial international rugby union competition inaugurated in 1987. It will be the largest sporting event ever held in New Zealand. Tournament organisers are forecasting at least 95,000 international visitors and RWC 2011 will also be watched by billions of viewers in over 100 countries, with 2000 international media attending the event. Twenty teams will compete in the tournament from 9 September to 23 October, and will be divided into four Pools - decided by draw in 2008. The teams are:

Russia will be making its World Cup debut in 2011.
