VUW Alumni function Berlin

Victoria University of Wellington's Vice-Chancellor Professor Pat Walsh and NZ Embassy Chargé d'Affaires Lisa Futschek hosted a function for German-based VUW Alumni at the New Zealand Ambassador’s residence in Berlin on Friday 30 March. 

Guest speaker Professor John Psathas of the New Zealand School of Music, gave a presentation on the challenges and achievements of New Zealand contemporary music composition.

The VUW Alumni function takes place every 18 months, bringing together graduates of the university for an evening of networking over fine  New Zealand wine and cuisine. Germany is the 6th largest source country for international fee paying students in New Zealand.
