What the High Commission does

The New Zealand High Commission is an overseas post of the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

The principal function of the High Commission is to help manage and enhance New Zealand's bilateral relationship with India, as well as those with our accredited countries Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka.

The Consular team provides a full range of consular services to New Zealanders in India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Nepal, covering welfare and protection, contingency planning, notarial and documentary services and statutory services.
