What the Embassy does

The New Zealand High Commission is an overseas post of the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

The principle function of the High Commission is to help manage and enhance New Zealand's bilateral relationship with India, as well as those with our accredited countries Sri Lanka, Nepal and Bangladesh.

The Consular team provides a full range of consular services to New Zealanders in India, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Bangladesh, covering welfare and protection, contingency planning, notarial and documentary services and statutory services.
