Flooding in Himalayan Region of Ladakh

Heavy rain has caused flash floods and mudslides in the Himalayan region of Ladakh in northern India.
 
The New Zealand High Commission in New Delhi is making contact with New Zealanders known to be in the flood affected region to confirm their wellbeing.
 
New Zealanders with family members known to be travelling in the Ladakh region are advised to make direct contact in the first instance and if there are ongoing concerns, contact the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade on:
