Passport fees

Completed passport applications are to be sent to the Passport Office in New Zealand. However, it also can be sent to Wellington via this Embassy. You are required to fill out the application forms (PAS 1) which are available from the Embassy and may also be downloaded from www.passports.govt.nz.

We despatch all applications once a week to New Zealand by diplomatic bag. The close-off for accepting passport applications for the weekly bag is 3pm on Tuesdays.

Please provide NZ passport (current or expired). We will take certified copies of your passport to include with your application. Your old passport will need to be cancelled by the Embassy prior to the new passport being handed over.

There will be a minimum courier fee of Rp.40,000 required which is to be paid for a new passport that needs to be returned to an address outside Jakarta and depending on the destination.

Please note that courier fee payments should be in cash at the Embassy or by bank transfer.

In terms of payment for a passport, you can either pay with a credit card or IDR.
(IDR should be in cash at the Embassy or by bank transfer).

The following are Passport and Emergency Travel Document fees effective from 1 September 2007. These fees are reviewed annually every July.

Urgent Service

(Two weeks time)
Adult: NZ$306.60 + NZ$50 = NZ$356.60
Rp 2.154.000 + Rp 351.000 = Rp 2.505.000

Child: NZ$235 + NZ$50 = NZ$285
Rp 1.649.000 + Rp 351.000 = Rp 2.000.000

Standard Service with Courier

(Three weeks time)
Adult: NZ$153.30 + NZ$50 + NZ$15.00 = NZ$218.30
Rp 1.080.000 + Rp 351.000 + Rp 99.000 = Rp 1.530.000

Child: NZ$81.70 + NZ$50 + NZ$15.00 = NZ$146.70
Rp 577.000 + Rp 351.000 + Rp 99.000 = Rp 1.027.000
 

Standard Service with Diplomatic Bag

(Four weeks time)
Adult: NZ$153.30 + NZ$50 = NZ$203.30
Rp 1.077.000 + Rp 351.000 = Rp 1.428.000

Child: NZ$81.70 + NZ$50 = NZ$131.70
Rp 573.000 + Rp.351.000 = Rp 924.000

NZ$50 is for administrative handling fee and NZ$15.00 is the current fee for returning an urgent replacement passport to the Embassy from the Passport Office in Wellington.
