Applying for a New Zealand Visitor Visa for your holidays

Going to New Zealand for your holidays?

Applying for a Visitor Visa at Immigration New Zealand in Jakarta is a very simple process.  First of all, download a copy of the application form here: INZ1189 - Visitor Visa application form

You’ll need to send the Jakarta Immigration New Zealand branch office the completed application, your and your family’s passports, passport-sized photographs, and the application fee.  You can pay the fee in person by cash or credit card, but if you are couriering your application to us, you will need to pay by bank transfer.

Did you know that for a New Zealand Visitor Visa, you can include your whole family – father and mother and all the children (under 20 years old) – on the one application form and only pay the one fee?  And a multiple entry visa is the same cost as a single entry – where we can we try and give everyone a multiple entry visa so you can visit New Zealand again!

Speaking of families, you’ll also need to give us a copy of your Kartu Keluarga.  A photocopy is fine - if we need to see the original we’ll contact you

You will also need to provide us evidence that you have enough money to cover your holiday in New Zealand, and confirmation of your itinerary.  Please don’t make any non-refundable bookings until we confirm your visa.

We’ll do your best to make sure your visa is finalised within 10 days; you can help us by making sure you give us all the information we need when you apply.  A full list of all the requirements can be found here: Visitor Visa Checklist
