ASEAN:at a crossroads?

From Ambassador David Taylor's blog.

ASEAN is like a car embarked on a long journey. This episode was akin to getting a flat tyre somewhere along the way. Disappointing and even annoying, but it does not spell the end of the road. I’ve spent a lot of time in multi-lateral meetings and have learned that consensus cannot always be found when major issues are at play, or when someone is reluctant to have an outcome.

The ASEAN car is still fit for purpose; the ten occupants still know where they’re going, though as ever there are different perspectives on the best route to take to get there. For the complete artilcle, please see the Ambassador's blog
