New Zealand Embassy supports literary festival in Bali

The New Zealand Embassy provided support to the 2010 Ubud Writers and Readers Festival held in Bali recently.
“The Festival attracted wide participation and attention as the premier writers gathering in Indonesia, and perhaps South East Asia,” said New Zealand Ambassador to Indonesia, David Taylor.

”We were pleased to be associated with the Festival.”

New Zealand writer Albert Wendt was to participate in the Festival but family circumstances prevented him from doing so.
