What the Embassy does

The New Zealand Embassy, Rome is an overseas post of the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

The Ambassador to Italy, HE Dr Trevor Donald Matheson, is also accredited to Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Cyprus, Greece and Malta.

The Embassy manages New Zealand's political, economic, trade, cultural and security relations with its countries of accreditation.

The Embassy is also the:

• Permanent Delegation of New Zealand to IFAD
• Permanent Delegation of New Zealand to WFP
