Immigration New Zealand (INZ) is the government agency responsible for establishing New Zealand immigration policies.

Visa application fees
- Student Visa: ¥15,800 (Japanese nationals are not required to pay)
- Visitor’s Visa: ¥ 9,600 (Japanese nationals are not required to pay; Fiji, Tonga, Samoa - ¥ 7,600)
- Work Visa: ¥15,800 (Japanese nationals are not required to pay)
- Transit Visa: ¥ 8,900
- Label Transfer: ¥ 6,200

We will accept all of these versions of the medical certificates:
- Temporary Entry Chest X-ray Certificate (NZIS 1096) dated March 2005
- Medical and Chest X-Ray Certificate (NZIS 1007) dated August 2005
- Medical and Chest X-Ray Certificate (INZ 1007) dated July 2009
- Temporary Entry Chest X-ray Certificate (INZ 1096) dated July 2009
- Medical and Chest X-Ray Certificate (INZ 1007) dated May 2010.
Note:
All visitors to New Zealand are required to hold a passport which is valid for at least 3 months beyond the intended date of departure from New Zealand.
Citizens of visa-free countries, including Japan, do not require a visa to visit New Zealand if travelling for tourism purposes and are intending to stay for 3 months or less.
